As usual I will share my activities in the kitchen during practice. Today we start at 8 in the morning. And before we started, Mr. Ical collected the assignments. We have to translate the book "modernist cuisine at home" from English to Indonesian. And we have to write it by hand on paper.
After collecting our assignments, we went straight into the pastry because Mr. Ical wanted to show us how to make croissants, because we kept failing. So, we really pay attention because we don't want to fail again. While Mr. Ical kept the dough in the freezer, we started making the dough so when Mr. Ical started to fold we also started to fold and so on. We put the dough in the freezer, Mr. Ical started the first fold, and put it in the freezer again.
And we also started our first fold, storing it in the freezer. And Mr. Ical started the second fold, but then he saw something wrong because the batter broke. So Mr. Ical asked us to make new dough, but this time make sure the dough is smooth. The new dough is ready, Mr. Ical continued the croissant but it turned out that the dough was not very good.
