Assalamualaikum wr wb.
As usual I will tell my activities in the kitchen. So, today we learn about pia. What is PIA? Pia is a traditional Chinese cake from a small round shape. The texture is hard but brittle. It originates from China but is quite popular in Indonesia. Usually filled with green beans. But nowadays, people also use chocolate, cheese, green tea, etc.
For starters, we were online and then Mr. Ical asked if we had a recipe reference. And my friends who have no references cannot learn to make pia today, they are helping ADH study programs to make soft roll. After asking about references, Mr. Ical said we could start making pia following our reference recipe.
First, we prepare the ingredients. We make pia from two different references. After the first reference is baked, we then prepare and make a second reference. The first reference is complete and the form is not so good so we hope the second one will be better. The second reference is complete and turns out better but the problem is the bottom is too hard while the top is destroyed. Where is the truth the bottom and top must be fragile. So, we will try again tomorrow.
